Due to significant time constraints, lawyers often struggle to complete their required CPD points each year, leading many to rush through CPD activities close to the annual deadline, treating them as a box-ticking exercise. Many perceive mandatory CPD as lacking genuine value and merely a requirement to fulfil. Additionally, CPD offerings frequently fail to align with the specific pain points and ambitions unique to each stage of a lawyer’s career, thus not addressing diverse challenges and aspirations and falling short of delivering genuine value.

Humans United By Law (HUBL) is driven by a bold vision to reshape the legal profession into a more collaborative, supportive, and inclusive community. By empowering lawyers to connect and learn from one another, we believe we can spark meaningful change.

We are creating a collaborative platform where NSW legal professionals can come together, learn and thrive. By reimagining the CPD experience, we facilitate networking and peer-led learning panels.

Our platform offers resources and opportunities for career support, managing sustainable growth and transitioning in or out of the legal profession.Solo and small-practice lawyers, who often lack the resources of larger firms, will benefit from strategic connections and cutting-edge knowledge.

HUBL uniquely focuses on regional inclusion, ensuring regional lawyers have equal access to CPD and networking opportunities.
